Who this policy covers

This policy describes how Check Your GPS Pin ("Check Your GPS Pin," "we," "us") handles information in connection with business findability, public business information, maps and listings, website or domain information, contact information, service-area information, location accuracy when relevant, correction, follow-up, and related services we provide to business owners and the people who manage a business on their behalf.

Information you provide to us

Depending on how you interact with Check Your GPS Pin, you may provide us with:

  • When you request a Free Visibility Assessment, you may provide the business name, business city or location information, your name, preferred contact method, phone number, email address, business website, an optional note, and your answers to the findability questions. Those answers may concern how customers do business with you, calls or inquiries, phone and website visibility, Google or profile visibility, service-area clarity, old or conflicting information, maps, listings, public-profile consistency, and your desired next step or business concern. We also record the preliminary areas identified from those answers and basic information about the request, such as when it was submitted and its source and status.
  • Your name, email address, phone number, and any message you write if you contact us through a public or client request form.
  • An email address and authentication credentials, if you have an admin or client account with us. Sign-in is handled through our application authentication system using server-side session records and a secure session cookie to keep you signed in.
  • Evidence files you choose to upload in connection with a review or correction request, including screenshots, reports, PDFs, photographs, and other documents.

Business information

As part of delivering our service, we may receive business information directly from you when you request a preliminary findability check. We may also research and record public information about the business being reviewed, such as its name, phone number, website or domain, service area, address when relevant, social or profile links, directories, public records, and how the business appears across maps and listing platforms.

Correction and workflow information

If your business or prospect record is being reviewed or has an active engagement, we may keep investigation findings, evidence and proof relationships, correction and readiness tasks, workflow and work-log records, propagation and recheck records, heatmap proof records, access or verification status, and communication drafts tied to that business. These records allow authorized operators to document the work, avoid conflicting actions, and continue from the correct point.

Payment information

When you purchase a paid offering or make a payment toward a custom project, your payment card details are entered directly on our payment processor's (Stripe's) own secure checkout page or invoice. Check Your GPS Pin does not collect, see, or store your full card number at any point. We retain payment status and order metadata necessary to confirm your purchase and provide the paid service: for example, the amount, currency, timestamp, and identifiers Stripe provides us, but not your card details themselves.

Public AI assistant

Visitors may voluntarily submit questions to the public Check Your GPS Pin AI assistant. The question and a limited amount of recent conversation context may be processed to generate a response. The assistant is designed to answer from approved public Check Your GPS Pin information and does not have access to private client records through the public chat interface.

Do not submit passwords, login credentials, confidential client information, private evidence, or other sensitive information into the public AI assistant.

Technical information and website analytics

Our hosting and infrastructure providers (see "Service providers" below) automatically log standard technical information, such as IP address and request activity, as part of operating the site.

We also use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), implemented through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors find and use the public website and to improve its performance and content. Depending on your browser, device, and Google Analytics settings, GA4 may use first-party cookies or similar identifiers and collect information such as device and browser details, page URLs and titles, referral or traffic-source information, approximate geographic information derived from IP address, and usage events such as page-view events, scroll activity, and engagement events.

We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or the contents of form fields to Google Analytics. Information you intentionally submit through Check Your GPS Pin forms is handled separately as described elsewhere in this policy.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Review a visibility assessment request and understand the business, customer-contact, public-information, or location concern you described.
  • Determine an appropriate next step and communicate with you about the request using the contact information you provided.
  • Maintain business, prospect, evidence, readiness, workflow, propagation, recheck, heatmap proof, and communication records where applicable.
  • Perform the location-accuracy investigation and produce your report or correction work.
  • Operate the client account and correction workflow for your business.
  • Operate the public AI assistant.
  • Support the public findability tools and website experience.
  • Improve public website content and usability.
  • Process payment for a paid offering you've purchased.
  • Respond to a request or question you've sent us.

Submitting a preliminary-check request does not by itself authorize correction work, account access, a service purchase, marketing text messages, marketing email, or general promotional communications. It also does not guarantee a correction, platform approval, or a business outcome.

Service providers

We rely on the following third parties to operate Check Your GPS Pin:

  • Floot: application hosting, authentication, database infrastructure, and related application services.
  • HighLevel: customer relationship management, scheduling, communications, and related automation services where used.
  • Google: Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager are used for website traffic and usage measurement.
  • Stripe: our payment processor, used only when you purchase a paid offering. Stripe handles your payment details directly; see Stripe's own privacy policy for how it handles that information.

Floot also provides the AI functionality used by the public assistant.

Security

Access to business, client, and correction data is restricted through authentication and database-level access controls, and administrative access is limited to authorized Check Your GPS Pin personnel. No method of storing or transmitting information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We keep account, business, and correction-related information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate recordkeeping. We have not yet adopted a specific fixed retention schedule.

Your choices

You may contact us to ask about the information we hold about you or your business, or to request a correction or deletion, subject to what we legitimately need to keep for recordkeeping or to continue providing an active service.

Children's privacy

Check Your GPS Pin is a business service intended for business owners and the staff who manage a business's listings. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service changes. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
